Sterling Healthcare Management is seeking a caring, dependable Certified Nursing Assistant to join our long-term care team at Elwood Health and Living. You will provide hands-on personal care to residents, assist with daily routines, and help maintain a safe, compassionate nursing floor.

Qualifications

• Must hold a valid Indiana CNA license.
• Completion of an approved Nurse Aide Training program.
• BLS/CPR certification is preferred.
• Long-term care experience preferred; new graduates welcome.
• Demonstrates genuine compassion for elderly residents.
• Reliable, punctual, and works well in a team.
• Ability to work rotating shifts, including weekends and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Assist residents with bathing, grooming, dressing, and oral hygiene.
• Help residents with meals, hydration, and feeding as needed.
• Assist with transfers, ambulation, and repositioning.
• Obtain and document vital signs, weights, and intake and output.
• Observe and promptly report changes in resident condition to the nurse.
• Respond to call lights quickly and with a caring attitude.
• Follow care plans, infection control protocols, and safety standards.
• Document care provided accurately each shift.
