Job summary

City Scape Rehabilitation and Care Center in Denver, Colorado is seeking compassionate CNAs to join our skilled nursing and rehabilitation team. You will provide routine nursing care under the guidance of charge nurses and supervisors, help residents with daily living activities, and contribute to a clean, homelike environment.

OPEN SHIFTS DAYS and NIGHTS; PAY RATE $22.00 - $26.50 per hour depending on experience. Must hold Colorado CNA license and be able to rotate shifts.

Qualifications

• Must possess a license as a certified nursing assistant (Colorado).
• Ability to read, write and speak fluent English.
• Ability to work with elderly, disabled residents and maintain compassion.
• Willingness to work rotating day/night shifts.
• Excellent patient care and teamwork skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide routine nursing care under direction of Charge Nurse, RN Supervisor, DON or Administrator.
• Assist residents with bathing, hygiene, feeding, continence care and daily living activities.
• Monitor and report residents’ vital signs and any changes to the nursing staff.

JOB SUMMARY:

A certified nursing assistant is responsible for providing routine nursing care in accordance with established policies and procedures and as may be directed by the Charge Nurse, RN Supervisor, Director of Nurses or Administrator, to assure that the highest degree of quality resident care can be maintained at all times, within their scope of practice.

JOB DUTIES:

Perform all duties as assigned and in accordance with facility’s established policies and procedures, nursing care procedures and safety rules and regulations, within the scope of practice of a certified nursing assistant. Certified Nursing Assistant is responsible for supporting medical staff in administering care to patients with various injuries, illnesses and disabilities. Their duties include helping patients bathe and maintain proper hygiene, feeding patients, providing continence care when needed, and assessing their patients’ vital signs to notify staff of any changes and assist in maintaining a clean, homelike environment.

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Must be possess a license as a certified nursing assistant
• Must possess a sincere desire to serve the elderly
• Ability to read, write and speak fluent English
• Possess the ability to deal tactfully with personnel, residents, family members, visitors, and the general public
• Willingness to work harmoniously with other personnel
• Must have patience, tact, cheerful disposition and enthusiasm, as well as be willing to handle residents based on whatever maturity level, they are currently functioning
• Must be able to relate to and work with ill, disabled, elderly, and emotionally upset individuals
• Other duties, responsibilities and activities may change or be assigned to you at any time with or without notice, from Nurse Management or NHA
