Job summary

Avivaatfitzsimons is looking for a Certified Nursing Assistant to provide routine daily nursing care under supervision in a long-term care setting. You will follow care plans, maintain resident dignity, and support overall comfort.

Essential duties include assisting with feeding, hygiene, mobility, and transporting residents, recording care activities, and participating in training. A valid CNA certificate or completion of training is required, with at least one year of experience preferred.

Qualifications

• HS diploma or GED required.
• Current CNA certification or completion of CNA training program required.
• At least one year of prior work experience desired.

Responsibilities

• Providing continuous care and comfort to assigned residents.
• Feeding residents and monitoring daily intake.
• Assisting residents with grooming and hygienic needs (bathing, dressing, toileting).
• Helping residents stand, walk, exercise, sit and lie down.
• Safely escorting and transporting residents to/from rooms and facilities.
• Fill out and maintain patient records.
• Other tasks as assigned.

Certified Nursing Assistant Summary:

The Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) provides routine daily nursing care and services in accordance with the care plan of each resident based on established nursing care procedures and at the direction of supervisor. CNA also ensures resident's needs are maintained with highest degree of dignity. The primary responsibility of your job position is to provide each of your assigned residents with routine daily nursing care and services following the current federal, state and local standards, guidelines and regulations that govern long term care and assisted living facilities. You are entrusted to ensure that the highest degree of quality care can be provided to our residents at all times.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Providing for the continuous care and comfort of assigned residents
• Feeding residents and accounting for their daily intake of food and liquids
• Assisting residents with their daily grooming and hygienic needs, including bathing, dressing and using the toilet
• Helping residents stand, walk, exercise, sit and lie down
• Safely escorting and/or transporting residents to and from their rooms and other areas of the facility.
• Fill out and maintain patient records
• Other tasks as assigned

JOB TRAINING

Qualifications

Experience: At least one year of previous work experience is desired

Education: High school diploma or GED

License: Current certification as a Certified Nursing Assistant or completion of a Certified Nursing Assistant training program
