Job summary

Interim HealthCare Staffing is seeking a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) to provide personal care and hygiene support in multiple facilities such as nursing homes, assisted living centers, rehab facilities and hospitals. You will collaborate with RNs, LPNs and aides to ensure quality patient care and comfort.

Must have a high school diploma or equivalent and an active Michigan CNA. Knowledge of healthcare regulations, compassion and strong communication are essential.

Qualifications

• High school diploma (or equivalent).
• Active Nursing Assistant Certification (CNA) in Michigan.
• Knowledge of state and federal healthcare laws/regulations.
• Compassionate, good communicator; ability to lift up to 50 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Care for personal care and hygiene needs of patients in facilities (nursing homes, assisted living, rehab centers, hospitals).
• Work with a team of physicians, RNs, LPNs and aides to deliver patient care.
• Assist with bathing, toileting, dressing, grooming, eating and nutritional intake.
• Assist with ambulation, transfers and range of motion exercises.
• Check vitals, monitor intake/output, glucose, and document changes.
• Observe patient and report issues requiring changes in care, meds or equipment.
