Job summary

American River Center is seeking a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) to join our compassionate healthcare team as a part-time caregiver. The role offers pay at $22 per hour and a supportive, family-oriented environment.

Under the supervision of a licensed nurse, you will assist residents with daily living activities, transfers, and treatments, while maintaining confidentiality and promoting a safe, respectful atmosphere. We encourage growth, continuing education, and teamwork.

Qualifications

• Successful completion of a state-approved certified nursing assistant program.
• Current CNA certification.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Basic knowledge of computer use or willingness to learn.

Responsibilities

• Assist residents with Activities of Daily Living (ADL).
• Assist residents with ambulation and transfers.
• Assist licensed nurse with treatments and procedures as needed.

Under The Direction Of a Licensed Nurse, You Will Deliver Efficient And Effective Nursing Care Essential To Caring For The Personal Needs And Comfort Of Residents. This Includes, But Is Not Limited To

• Assisting residents with or performing Activities of Daily Living (ADL).
• Assisting residents with ambulation and transfers.
• Assisting licensed nurse with treatments and procedures as needed.
• Maintaining the confidentiality of all resident care information.
• Promoting a culture of safety to ensure a healthy practice and living environment.

Must Have

• Successful completion of a state-approved certified nursing assistant program
• Current CNA certification
• High school diploma or equivalent
• Basic knowledge of computer use or willingness to learn

Nice To Have

• Experience in a Skilled Nursing Facility (SNF) environment
• Nursing Assistant experience providing direct care to multiple residents
• Behavioral care / memory care experience
