Job summary

Country Drive Post Acute in Fremont, CA is seeking a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) to join our compassionate healthcare team. You will provide high-quality resident care under the direction of a licensed nurse.

Responsibilities include assisting residents with daily living activities, aiding with ambulation and transfers, supporting treatments, maintaining confidentiality, and promoting a culture of safety.

Qualifications

  • Must have completed a state-approved CNA program.
  • Current CNA certification is required.
  • High school diploma or equivalent is required.

As a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA), You Will Put Resident Service First And Ensure That Residents And Their Families Receive The Highest Quality Care. Under The Direction Of a Licensed Nurse, You Will Deliver Efficient And Effective Nursing Care Essential To Caring For The Personal Needs And Comfort Of Residents. This Includes, But Is Not Limited To

  • Assisting residents with or performing Activities of Daily Living (ADL).
  • Assisting residents with ambulation and transfers.
  • Assisting licensed nurse with treatments and procedures as needed.
  • Maintaining the confidentiality of all resident care information.
  • Promoting a culture of safety to ensure a healthy practice and living environment.
Must Have
  • Successful completion of a state-approved certified nursing assistant program
  • Current CNA certification
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Basic knowledge of computer use or willingness to learn
Nice To Have
  • Experience in a Skilled Nursing Facility (SNF) environment
  • Nursing Assistant experience providing direct care to multiple residents
  • Behavioral care / memory care experience
