Qualifications

• Active CNA license in Nebraska.
• Experience with elderly care in long-term care, post-acute, hospital, or similar setting preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist residents with activities of daily living (ADLs) such as dressing, hygiene, and other daily care needs.
• Answer call lights promptly to determine patients' needs.
• Document all patient care in the Plan of Care and notify Nurse Manager of any refusals or vital sign abnormalities.

What does a day in the life look like?

• Assist residents with activities of daily living (ADLs) such as dressing, hygiene care, and other daily essential care needs.
• Answering call lights in a timely manner to determine the patients’ needs.
• Responsible for documenting all patient care in POC and notify Nurse Manager of refusals of care or abnormalities in vital signs.

What should I have to be considered?

• An active CNA license in the state of Nebraska.
• Experience working with the elderly providing personal care services in a long term care, post-acute, hospital, or similar setting preferred.
