Hillcrest Health & Living is hiring Nurse Techs for multiple Hillcrest communities in Bellevue, Papillion, and Gretna. We seek compassionate, dependable team players to provide daily living assistance, document care, and support residents under the supervision of nurses. Evening shifts from 2:00 p.m.

to 10:00 p.m. are in high demand, with every‑other weekend rotations available. CNA certification is required, CPR/BLS preferred or obtainable within Hillcrest timelines.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Assist residents with activities of daily living and personal care.

Locations: Bellevue, Papillion & Gretna, NE
Schedule: Multiple Opportunities Available | High Need for Evening Shift: 2:00 p.m. – 10:00 p.m. | Every Other Weekend

Hillcrest Health & Living is looking for compassionate, dependable, and team-focused Nurse Techs to join our clinical teams across multiple Hillcrest communities in Bellevue, Papillion, and Gretna.

Our Nurse Techs play an important role in helping residents and guests feel safe, supported, and cared for throughout their day. Working alongside nurses and other clinical team members, you will provide hands‑on assistance with daily living while building meaningful relationships with the people you serve.

What You’ll Do

As a Nurse Tech, you will work closely with nurses and other clinical team members to provide hands‑on care and daily support based on each resident or guest’s individual needs.

You will:

• Assist residents and guests with activities of daily living, including bathing, dressing, grooming, hygiene, toileting, and other personal‑care needs.

• Respond promptly to call lights and requests for assistance.

• Assist with transfers, repositioning, ambulation, and mobility according to individual care needs.

• Obtain and document vital signs as directed.

• Observe residents and guests for changes in condition, behavior, comfort, or mobility.

• Promptly communicate concerns or changes to the appropriate nurse.

• Assist with meals, snacks, hydration, and other dining needs.

• Help residents and guests maintain as much independence as possible while providing appropriate support.

• Assist with linens, beds, resident rooms, and other care‑area needs.

• Complete required documentation accurately and timely.

• Follow individualized care plans and established clinical procedures.

• Maintain resident and guest privacy, dignity, and confidentiality.

• Follow infection‑control, safety, and resident‑handling standards.

• Communicate effectively with nurses, team members, residents, guests, and families.

• Help create a calm, welcoming, and supportive environment.

• Work collaboratively with the clinical team to keep care running smoothly.

• Assist with additional resident‑care responsibilities as assigned.

Education & Credentials

• Active Nebraska CNA certification required.

• Basic Life Support/CPR certification required or must be obtained within the established Hillcrest timeframe.

• Previous direct‑care, senior living, long‑term care, post‑acute, assisted living, or similar experience preferred.

Physical & Other Requirements

• Must be able to speak, read, and write English.

• Must be able to safely assist residents and guests with activities of daily living, transfers, mobility, and personal care.

• Must be able to perform repetitive standing, walking, bending, reaching, lifting, and movement throughout the shift.

• Must be flexible and calm when supporting residents, guests, families, and team members during stressful situations.

• Must be able to work in a fast‑paced clinical environment with strong attention to detail.

• Must follow established infection‑control, safety, and clinical procedures.
