Job summary

Bristol Hospice - Bangor LLC is seeking an experienced Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) to support patients and families in a hospice setting in Bangor, ME. You will work under the supervision of an RN and provide compassionate personal care, monitor comfort, and assist with daily activities.

The ideal candidate is a CNA with CPR certification, willing to work autonomously, and able to adapt to complex end-of-life care plans while maintaining dignity and respect for patients and families.

Qualifications

  • Must be a certified CNA with a valid license.
  • Completed at least 75 hours of classroom and supervised practical training.
  • CPR certification is required.
  • Background check prior to hire and annually thereafter.

Responsibilities

  • Provide personal care and assist with daily activities.
  • Attend to patient and family needs with respectful communication.
  • Take and document vital signs as ordered and report changes to the Case Manager.
  • Maintain a clean, safe patient environment and comply with care plans.
