Job summary

Bermuda Village Retirement Community is seeking two Certified Nursing Assistants (CNAs) to join the Resident Care team in Health Care. CNAs provide hands-on care, promote dignity, safety, independence, and quality of life for residents.

Join a team that values compassion and professionalism; you will assist with daily living activities, monitor residents, document care, and work closely with nurses and staff to ensure high-quality care.

Qualifications

• Ability to pass a criminal background check.
• Ability to meet required health and safety requirements.
• Compassion and a genuine desire to work with older adults.
• Preferred: prior experience in a retirement community or healthcare setting.

Responsibilities

• Provide assistance with daily living activities including bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, incontinence care, positioning, transfers and mobility.
• Encourage residents to maintain as much independence as possible.
• Monitor residents and promptly report changes or concerns to the nurse or supervisor.
• Respond promptly to resident needs and emergency call signals.
• Complete required documentation and maintain accurate records.
• Assist residents during meals and provide dining support as needed.
• Follow all safety, emergency, fire, disaster, and resident protection procedures.
• Respect resident rights, privacy, dignity, preferences, and confidentiality.
• Communicate professionally with residents, families, coworkers, and supervisors.
• Provide compassionate, courteous, and professional care at all times.
• Work effectively as part of a team and independently.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

About the Position

Bermuda Village Retirement Community is seeking two compassionate and dependable Certified Nursing Assistants (CNAs) to join our Resident Care team in Health Care. CNAs provide hands-on care and support to residents while promoting dignity, comfort, safety, independence, and quality of life.

What You'll Do

• Perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements

Qualifications

Required:

• Ability to pass a criminal background check.
• Ability to meet required health and safety requirements.
• Ability to perform the essential duties of the position with or without reasonable accommodation.
• Compassion and a genuine desire to work with older adults.
• Dependable, professional, and able to work well with others.

Preferred:

• Previous experience working in a retirement community, senior living, or healthcare setting.

Physical & Work Requirements

This position requires frequent walking, standing, bending, reaching, stooping, squatting, pushing, pulling, and lifting 25+ pounds. The CNA may also work in an environment involving communicable illnesses, cleaning products, varying temperatures, odors, and other conditions associated with healthcare and residential care.
