Job summary

Sharp HealthCare is seeking a Labor and Delivery Registered Nurse at the CN II level to support the Women and Newborn Services team. The role requires autonomy, collaboration, and advanced clinical skills to ensure safe, high-quality patient care.

You will work 7 PM to 7:30 AM on a 12/36 shift, with weekend duties every other, and a strong emphasis on evidence-based obstetric practices and patient advocacy.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in nursing or ADN with L&D RN experience in lieu of BSN.
• California RN license required; BLS, ACLS, NRP credentials required.
• OB/GYN certification and neonatal care competencies emphasized.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate interprofessional care to deliver safe, patient-centered obstetric services.
• Document care and interventions accurately in the EMR system.
• Provide preceptorship and mentorship to new graduates and staff.
• Act as patient advocate and ensure dignity, privacy, and safety.
• Lead or support roles across OB ED, OR Circulator, PACU as needed.
