Job summary

GEODIS, a global 3PL, seeks a CMV Driver to safely transport goods and ensure timely deliveries in a hybrid work setting. You will load/unload, plan routes, and interact professionally with clients while complying with FMCSA rules and GEODIS policies.

Requirements include 21+ years of age and 1 year of CMV driving experience; strong communication, time management, and teamwork are essential for success in this role.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 21 years old.
• 1 year of experience as a CMV driver or similar.
• Able to remain professional and courteous at all times.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Strong organizational/time management skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Responsibilities

• Operate and drive a CMV with GVWR 10,001–26,001 lb per DOT regulations.
• Safely load and unload goods from the delivery vehicle.
• Deliver items on schedule to clients or businesses.
• Plan and follow efficient routes for timely deliveries.
• Provide professional customer service and obtain delivery signatures.
• Inspect vehicle and report any issues to supervisor.
• Maintain delivery records including times and recipients.
• Adhere to traffic laws and company policies.
• Resolve delivery issues promptly to ensure customer satisfaction.
