Job summary

GEODIS is seeking a Driver Line Haul in Florida to safely and efficiently deliver goods to clients. The role requires professionalism, strong customer service, and adherence to FMCSA and DOT regulations. You will operate CMVs, coordinate with dispatch, and maintain accurate delivery records.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 21 years old with a valid state driver’s license.
• Class A CDL with a minimum of 2 years of experience.
• Knowledge of DOT and FMCSA regulations and compliance requirements.

Responsibilities

• Operate and drive a CMV in compliance with DOT regulations.
• Safe load, transport, and unload goods according to delivery schedules.
• Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle to ensure safe operation.
• Maintain accurate records of deliveries, vehicle inspections, hours of service.
• Communicate effectively with dispatchers, customers, and other team members.
• Adhere to GEODIS policies and safety protocols.
• Provide excellent customer service at all delivery points.
• Report incidents or delays promptly to appropriate parties.
• Support GEODIS programs for Safety, Health, Environment, Quality and Compliance.
