Job summary

ECS Limited is seeking a CMT Staff Project Manager II to join our Orlando field services team. You will support construction materials testing projects through technical analysis, reporting, and project coordination with growing independence.

Responsibilities include budget management, invoicing, proposals, and change orders, along with laboratory testing and field report review. Collaboration with clients and teams is essential as you develop PM skills and uphold ECS values.

Qualifications

• 1 year of related experience.
• Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering or related discipline.
• Driver's license required if driving for ECS subsidiary.
• Strong communication skills (verbal and written).
• Basic knowledge of ASTM standards and testing procedures.
• Developing project management and organizational skills.
• Ability to work effectively with teams, clients, and supervisors.
• Limited but growing decision-making ability.

Responsibilities

• Supports management of construction materials testing projects, including daily report review and assisting with issue resolution.
• Manages project budgets, prepares invoices, pay applications, and supports collection efforts.
• Prepares proposals and change orders for CMT projects.
• Performs or supports laboratory testing, soil classification, and materials evaluation.
• Supports and performs testing of soils, foundations, reinforced and post-tensioned concrete, masonry, structural steel, fireproofing, and asphalt.
• Reviews field reports and ensures accuracy and timeliness of documentation.
• Assists with training and coordination of field staff on assigned projects.
• Performs project-related tasks across the lifecycle, including proposal, execution, and closeout activities.
• Communicates with project teams, contractors, and clients.
• Supports delivery of low-complexity projects with increasing independence.
• Performs other technical and project coordination tasks as assigned.
