Job summary

Braun Intertec seeks an Operations Supervisor for its Construction Materials Testing (CMT) operations in our Austin, TX office. Responsible for leading technicians, mentoring staff, and ensuring field testing adheres to plans and specs.

Candidate will develop CMT policies, coordinate with schedulers, and maintain equipment and safety standards. Requires 5+ years in materials testing, ACI Field Level I, Nuclear Density Gauge certifications, and a valid driver's license.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent required.
• ACI Field Level I Certification required.
• Nuclear Density Gauge Certification required.
• Minimum 5 years in materials testing or construction.
• ICC certifications to be obtained as needed.

Responsibilities

• Lead a team of technicians and inspectors in field work, including supervision, mentorship, training and staffing.
• Assist with development and implementation of CMT policies and direction for the CMT group.
• Perform field inspections and testing to verify conformance with plans and specs;prepare daily reports.
• Promote safety practices; conduct safety audits of field staff.
• Coordinate with scheduling and regional operations to manage workloads and resources.
• Ensure quality control by reviewing testing work and addressing issues; communicate project progress.
