LVI Associates is seeking a Construction Materials Testing (CMT) Manager in Detroit, MI to lead and grow the CMT and Inspection department. The role offers autonomy, leadership, and a clear pathway toward ownership within the business, with oversight of testing services, reports, budgets, and client relations.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of Construction Materials Testing and Inspection experience.
• Proven leadership of technicians and project teams.
• Strong knowledge of ASTM, ACI, ICC, MDOT standards.
• Excellent communication and client-facing skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage the CMT and Inspection department.
• Mentor field technicians, inspectors, and lab staff.
• Oversee staffing, scheduling, budgets, and performance.
• Ensure safety and industry-standard testing delivery.
• Review technical reports for accuracy.
• Manage client relationships and expectations.
• Identify opportunities to expand services.
• Ensure compliance with ASTM, ACI, ICC, MDOT.
