- Perform laboratory testing of soils, aggregates, concrete, and asphalt in accordance with ASTM, AASHTO, and company procedures.
- Conduct testing including Proctor compaction, sieve analysis, Atterberg Limits, sand equivalent, uncompacted voids, compression testing, and other standard laboratory procedures.
- Perform asphalt testing including ignition oven, Marshall/Gyratory, maximum theoretical density (Rice), and related testing methods.
- Receive, sample, split, process, and prepare materials for testing.
- Accurately record, calculate, and report test results.
- Maintain laboratory equipment, testing areas, and quality control documentation.
- Ensure testing is performed in accordance with applicable standards, safety requirements, and laboratory procedures.
- Assist with laboratory operations and other duties as assigned.
- Six months to 2 years' experience performing laboratory testing of soils, aggregates, concrete, and/or asphalt materials preferred.
- Knowledge of ASTM, AASHTO, and industry-standard laboratory testing procedures.
- ATTI/ASTM/AASHTO Soils and Aggregate certification preferred.
- Training may be provided for qualified candidates with relevant experience and aptitude.

- Basic computer proficiency and experience entering and maintaining testing data.

- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Positive attitude, strong work ethic, and ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Valid driver's license with a satisfactory driving record.
- Ability to lift and carry up to 60 pounds on a regular basis as part of daily laboratory operations.
