Job summary

Terracon is seeking a field/lab technician in Morgantown to perform testing and inspection of soils, aggregates, concrete, asphalt and steel. You will document findings, coordinate with project managers, and ensure safety and quality standards on site.

The role requires 1–2 years of relevant experience, proficiency with Word/Excel, and a valid driver's license. NICET/ICC/ASNT certifications are preferred and encouraged for advancement.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 1–2 years of relevant field or lab experience.
• Experience with laptop use and Microsoft Word and Excel
• A valid driver’s license with acceptable history may be required.

Responsibilities

• Perform field and laboratory testing, observation, and inspection of construction materials.
• Prepare and submit data and reports to the project manager.
• Maintain equipment, vehicles and work areas; ensure safety compliance.
• Assist higher level technicians on complex tasks and ensure quality standards.
