Job summary

Manchester Rehab & Healthcare Center in Ballwin, MO is seeking a Certified Medication Technician (CMT) for the evening shift (2p–10p) to support resident care and medication administration. Under supervision, you will follow all regulations, ensure proper storage and documentation, assist with ADLs, monitor vital signs, and respond to call lights promptly to maintain resident safety.

Missouri CMT certification and prior SNF/long-term care experience preferred; multi-tasking and compassionate

Qualifications

• Missouri Certified Medication Technician certification required.
• Experience in skilled nursing facility or long-term care preferred.
• Ability to multi-task and work effectively with residents and staff.

Responsibilities

• Administer nonparenteral medications safely and accurately under the supervision of licensed nursing staff (RN/LPN).
• Follow federal, state, and facility regulations and infection control procedures.
• Ensure proper medication storage, documentation, and disposal per facility protocol.
• Provide direct resident care, assist with ADLs (Activities of Daily Living), and support dietary needs, including feeding and offering substitutes.
• Assist in taking and reporting vital signs and promptly notify nursing staff of any abnormalities.
• Respond to call lights within 2 minutes and provide prompt, courteous assistance.
• Maintain safe usage of safety equipment, transfer devices, and gait belts.

• Must be able to multi-task, prioritize, and work efficiently with residents and staff
