Job summary

Benedictine Health System is seeking a Certified Medication Technician (CMT) to provide compassionate resident care and administer medications under licensed nurse direction. The role supports safe, comfortable, home-like living for residents.

Responsibilities include completing tasks efficiently and communicating with residents, families, and health team members to ensure safety and well-being. Prior hospital/long-term care experience and BLS are preferred.

Qualifications

• Must be in good standing with State Nursing Assistant Registry
• Meet state requirements for medication administration
• Good communication skills
• Ability to read, write and communicate in English
• Previous hospital or long-term care experience preferred
• BLS Certification

As part of our team, you will play an important role in ensuring our residents are safe, cared for and feel at home.

• The CMT completes assigned tasks to ensure timely, efficient and safe resident care.
• The CMT communicates and interacts with patients, residents, families, and other health team members to assure resident safety and well-being.

Qualifications

• Previous hospital or long term care experience preferred
• BLS Certification.

Salary Range

$20.51-22.66 per hour. $2.25 - 2.50 shift differential
