Job summary

Jobtailor seeks an experienced CMP Process Improvement Engineer in Arizona to analyze data, troubleshoot complex CMP and integration issues, and lead service improvements.

Job description

• Analyze data to identify, troubleshoot, and solve complex CMP process, yield, and integration problems
• Lead customer discussions to understand High Value Problems (HVP)
• Propose and implement Continuous Improvement Projects (CIP)
• Capture learning to maximize service opportunities and implement solutions improving customer KPIs
• Increase CSA value through defect, variability, and COO reduction; PM, process Cpk, matching, and output optimization
• Identify opportunities for CSA renewal, upsell, and penetration
• Drive adoption of service technologies, including FabVantage Offerings, through demos, onsite evaluations, and Joint Development Programs
• Resolve complex tool issues using analytics, equipment and process knowledge, and FabVantage troubleshooting methodologies
• Diagnose root causes and resolve issues using BOM, EC, FSS, and FV360 data comparisons
• Issue reports and present findings and recommendations to customers
• Mentor and lead junior-level MPEs
• Lead and contribute to the CMP network of experts and Community of Practice

Requirements

• BS in Engineering
• 10+ years of experience in Chemical Mechanical Planarization (CMP) Process
• Strong Wafer Fab background
• Wafer Fab / Equipment experience
• Data analytics background
• Advanced integration knowledge
• Domain knowledge of 4 or more processes on 2 or more technologies
• Technical expertise in CMP Unit Process and Wafer Fab operations
• Ability to communicate complex ideas, anticipate objections, and persuade senior stakeholders
• Willingness to travel 20% of the time
