Job summary

Shin-Etsu Silicones of America, Inc. is seeking a Maintenance Planner to oversee CMMS equipment data, inventory levels, and organization. The role also backs up the Maintenance Supervisor and coordinates work with outside contractors.

Responsibilities include creating PMs, managing MPulse, ordering parts, and maintaining records. Strong maintenance background and problem-solving skills are essential for success in this on-site Akron, OH facility.

Qualifications

• Experience with CMMS and detailed equipment understanding is strongly preferred.
• 5 years’ industrial maintenance experience required.
• Experience with hydraulics, fabrication/welding, pneumatics, pumps, electrical, mechanical repair, and HVAC required.

Responsibilities

• Serve as back-up for Maintenance Supervisor.
• Create PMs for new and existing equipment.
• Manage MPulse system entries and updates.
• Order material and parts for work orders.
• Coordinate with maintenance team, contractors, and vendors.
• Analyze equipment failures and adjust PM frequency.
• Maintain spare parts inventory and proper storage.
• Ensure health, safety, and environmental regulations compliance.
