Magna Exteriors in the United States is seeking a meticulous CMM/Metrology Technician to support quality control activities in the CMM lab. You will develop and run CMM programs, perform dimensional layouts, and perform GR&R studies while collaborating with Engineering and Production teams.

The role requires reading automotive blueprints and GD&T callouts, maintaining lab organization, and ensuring data is accurately reported for PPAP and part shipments. On-site position with full-time hours.

Competenze

• Experience with CMM programming and metrology preferred.
• Knowledge of GD&T principles and tolerance analysis.
• Ability to read automotive blueprints/CAD drawings and interpret specifications.

Mansioni

• Attend all job and safety trainings.
• Create, modify and run Coordinate Measuring Machine (CMM) programs.
• Perform dimensional layouts and gauge R&R studies per PPAP/Control Plan frequencies.
• Read blueprints/CAD drawings and GD&T callouts to ensure conformance.
• Prepare and generate CMM and dimensional reports for part trials or shipments.
• Maintain organization and housekeeping in the CMM lab.
