Job description

Salary: USD30 - USD38 per hour

We are working with an established calibration and measurement services provider seeking a CMM Technician for its Denver laboratory.

Responsibilities

• Operate, set up and program Coordinate Measuring Machines
• Use 3D vision systems, single-axis measuring equipment and hand tools
• Inspect components against blueprints, dimensions and tolerances
• Interpret GD&T symbols and identify measurement discrepancies
• Establish efficient part setups, alignments, datums and origins
• Accurately record and report inspection results

Requirements

• Experience operating or programming CMM equipment
• Understanding of X, Y and Z axes, vectors and coordinate systems
• Knowledge of 3-2-1 alignments, datums, offset planes and translated origins
• Ability to read engineering drawings and interpret GD&T
• Associate degree or technical qualification with at least one year of relevant experience
• Equivalent hands-on training and experience will also be considered
• Comfortable working within a laboratory environment and performing the physical duties of the role
