IMS in Lancaster, SC is hiring a CMM / Quality Technician for a weekend shift, starting at $24 hourly. The role focuses on precision inspection of steel components using CMM and other gauges to document visual, mechanical, and dimensional quality.

The position requires experience with CMMs (FARO or Romer preferred), GD&T knowledge, and ability to read drawings. It includes benefits such as health insurance and 401(k) with company match.

Qualifications

• Experience with CMM (FARO or Romer preferred).
• Ability to read and interpret mechanical drawings (GD&T familiar).
• Proficient in using calipers, micrometers, height gauges and other gauges.

Responsabilités

• Inspect steel fabricated components using a CMM and other measuring tools.
• Document all measurements accurately and completely.
• Tag parts with disposition (accepted, rejected or rework) and communicate issues to management.
• Maintain and inspect measuring devices and comply with safety policies.
