Linamar Corporation in Arkansas seeks a CMM Programming Technician to provide layout information from CMMs and hand gauges for new machine start-ups and capability studies. You will read blueprints and GD&T, interpret data to aid part adjustments, and support manufacturing in a collaborative environment.

The role requires knowledge of PCDMIS, the ability to train others, and proficiency with Microsoft Office. Daily CMM checks, Gage R&R, and generating capability reports are core responsibilities.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Programming certification required or 3 to 5 years prior experience programming.
• Knowledge of PCDMIS.
• Ability to train and mentor others.
• Microsoft Office Suite.

Responsabilités

• Daily checks of all production machining on CMM and gauges.
• Read blueprints and correlate dimensions to CMM reports.
• Review reports with cell leaders and set up teams.
• Inform cell leader on directions to move features to meet nominal specs.
• Conduct capability studies on CMM and hand gauges.
• Print capability reports and program 3D models.
• Perform 100% dimensional layouts to part prints.
• Conduct Gage R&R studies and calibrations.
• Manually operate CMM to measure features on parts.
