Job summary

SIG SAUER, Inc. is seeking a CMM Programming Technician in New Hampshire to edit inspection programs and support precision measurement of components.

The role requires mechanical inspection experience, CMM software familiarity, and problem-solving abilities within a fast-paced team environment. Responsibilities include modifying plans, proving out CGM/Gauge inspections, maintaining reports, and supporting continuous improvement while adhering to ISO processes.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED; BS/AS in Mechanical/Manufacturing/Quality or engineering preferred.
• 3 years minimum as Mechanical Quality Inspector or related experience.
• ASME Y14.5M-2009/2018 certified or equivalent.
• Basic inspection software training in Calypso/PCDMIS/Modus/ATOS preferred.
• Proficient with MS Office; GitKraken or similar PM tools helpful.
• Strong written and verbal communication; good time management.
• Participation in 5S and sustainment activities encouraged.

Responsibilities

• Modify existing CMM/Gauge inspection plans using 3D CAD models and drawings.
• Prove-out CMM/Gauge plans; perform GRR and correlation studies.
• Provide mechanical inspection support and CMM verification for simple to medium components.
• Communicate CMM results with graphical views to support troubleshooting.
• Qualify, assemble, and replace CMM/gauge styli.
• Assemble fixturing for holding components on automated inspection machines.
• Maintain CMM/Gauge reports, GRR, and related documentation.
• Engage in Continuous Improvement projects and ISO processes.
• Regular on-site attendance; overtime may be required.
• May work in other facilities as needed.
