Job summary
Johnson Controls Navy Systems in York, PA seeks a CMM Programmer/Engineer to join the quality engineering team at the Grantley Plant. You will provide CMM programming support, develop inspection plans, and contribute to continuous improvement while ensuring compliance with government and industry standards.
The role requires proficiency in CMM software (PCDMIS, Calypso, Camio or Modus), GD&T knowledge, and a US citizen able to pass a background check.
Qualifications
- Associate or Bachelor degree in Engineering, Manufacturing Technology or related discipline preferred or equivalent years of experience.
- Advanced proficiency with CMMs using PCDMIS, Calypso, Camio or Modus.
- MS Office proficiency for documentation and reporting.
- User with strong problem solving, data analysis, GD&T and blueprint reading skills; leadership capability.
Responsibilities
- Provide CMM PCDMIS offline and online programming support for inspections.
- Support training for individuals learning CMM inspections.
- Perform first article dimensional reviews for internal and external parts.
- Troubleshoot inspection issues in process and on equipment.
- Support Grantley Plant quality programs and interface with suppliers as needed.
- Participate in quality problem resolution teams and continuous improvement.
- Assist in scrap and rework reduction initiatives.
- Develop inspection plans and verify product compliance with requirements.
