Job summary

Johnson Controls Navy Systems in York, PA seeks a CMM Programmer/Engineer to support CMM programming and quality for Navy systems. The role focuses on PCDMIS, Calypso, Camio or Modus programming, first article reviews, and continuous improvement within JCNS quality programs.

You'll work with a team to resolve issues, update procedures, and ensure compliance with government standards. US citizenship required for background checks; salary range applies.

Qualifications

• Associate or Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Manufacturing Technology or related discipline or equivalent experience.
• Advanced proficiency with CMMs using PCDMIS, Calypso, Camio or Modus.
• Proficient in MS Office.
• Strong planning, problem solving, data analysis, GD&T, and communication skills; leadership abilities.
• US Citizen able to pass a background check.

Responsibilities

• Provide CMM PCDMIS offline and online programming support for inspections.
• Assist training for individuals learning CMM inspections.
• Perform first article dimensional reviews for internal and external parts.
• Troubleshoot inspection issues in process and with equipment.
• Provide quality technical support to the Grantley Plant.
• Collaborate with customer service to address product issues and warranty.
• Participate in quality problem resolution and continuous improvement.
• Support scrap and rework reduction initiatives.
• Interface with suppliers to resolve quality issues.
• Develop and revise procedures to support plant quality programs.
• Develop inspection test plans for verification of products.
• Maintain knowledge of government/industry codes and standards.
• Support documentation and ECN processes for quality issues.
• Adhere to Code of Conduct and ethics.
