Job summary

Michael Page is seeking a skilled CMM Programmer/Inspector for a Rochester, NH role. You will create and modify CMM inspection programs using Calypso, CAD models, and engineering drawings, and prove out programs.

The role includes GR&R studies, troubleshooting, and hands-on inspections to support prototype development and production quality initiatives. You will analyze inspection results and SPC data, partnering with engineering, manufacturing, and quality teams to resolve dimensional concerns

Qualifications

Experience programming CMMs, preferably using Zeiss Calypso.
Strong understanding of GD&T including true position, MMC, datums, and feature identification.
Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and CAD models.
Experience in a high-volume manufacturing environment.
Knowledge of SPC, GR&R studies, and quality inspection processes.
Proficiency with Microsoft Excel; SolidWorks or other CAD experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

Create new programs and modify existing CMM inspection plans using Calypso, CAD models, and engineering drawings.
Prove out inspection programs, perform GR&R studies, and troubleshoot programming issues.
Conduct hands‑on inspections using CMMs and traditional measurement equipment.
Support prototype development and production quality initiatives.
Analyze inspection results and SPC data to drive process improvements.
Partner with engineering, manufacturing, and quality teams to resolve dimensional and quality concerns.
