Job summary

ADDMAN is seeking a CMM Programmer Operator to join the Quality Team in Statesville, NC. You will measure key part characteristics with CMM equipment, perform programming and analysis for in-process and finished products, and collaborate with engineering to troubleshoot parts.

You will also train teammates on CMM operation, conduct first piece inspections, and ensure documentation and planning for jobs meet customer requirements and quality standards.

Qualifications

• 2 year technical degree and/or 2 years shop floor machining.
• 2 years shop floor machining and/or 6 months Quality Inspection in machine shop environment.
• Able to operate a CMM, including choosing appropriate tools and inspecting parts with minimal supervision.
• Preferred experience with PC DMIS CMM software.
• Knowledge of GD&T and general blueprint interpretation.

Responsibilities

• Measure key part characteristics with CMM equipment.
• Perform CMM programming, setup, and analysis of both in-process and finished products.
• Troubleshoot parts with engineering and programming teams.
• Perform first piece production inspection and provide feedback.
• Document findings and develop planning for jobs.
• Train others on CMM operation and methods.
• Verify machined component dimensions against blueprints.
