Job summary

Advantage Technical is seeking a skilled CMM Programmer in Beverly, MA to support new product development, quality assurance, and measurement system validation. You will create and validate CMM programs, perform First Article Inspections, and ensure conformance to GD&T-based specifications.

The role requires experience with metrology systems, GD&T, and reading engineering drawings. Strong collaboration with Quality Engineering and Manufacturing teams is essential in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Experience programming CMMs in a manufacturing environment.
• Advanced knowledge of GD&T and precision measurement techniques.
• Strong ability to read and interpret engineering drawings, blueprints, and specifications.

Responsibilities

• Create, validate, and troubleshoot CMM and vision system programs from drawings and CAD models.
• Perform dimensional inspections and First Article Inspections on precision components.
• Apply GD&T principles to ensure compliance with specifications.
• Collaborate with Quality Engineering, Manufacturing, and Inspection teams to improve product quality.
• Conduct measurements with gauges, fixtures, and inspection equipment.
• Support tooling, fixture, and gage development projects.
• Train inspectors and technicians on inspection methods and measurement systems.
• Drive continuous improvement and Lean initiatives.
