THE G.A. Richards Group in Michigan seeks a quality-focused technician to operate the Coordinate Measuring Machine (CMM) and perform dimensional lay‑outs for PPAP, along with internal and customer-requested capability studies.
You will maintain the Calibration program, ensure conformance to company policies, and assist in continuous improvement within the Quality Department.
Benefits:
Shift: Monday - Friday, 7:00 AM - 3:30 PM
Summary: Operate the Coordinate Measuring Machine to perform dimensional lay‑outs for the Production Part Approval Process (PPAP), internal and customer-requested capability studies, and other measuring requirements. Maintain the Calibration program. Assist in overall conformance to the company policies and procedures.
Education and/or Experience: High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or one to three months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Computer Skills: Intermediate computer skills with Windows based software
