Job summary

Barton Staffing Solutions is seeking a skilled CMM Operator on 2nd shift for a manufacturer of industrial heaters, sensors, and controls in Illinois. Training on 1st shift precedes 2nd shift.

You will perform CMM inspections, interpret GD&T, and verify part accuracy using micrometers, calipers, thread gauges, and gage pins. You’ll join the Quality Department to ensure high-quality thermal solutions, collaborate with CNC and manufacturing teams, and promote continuous improvement in inspection

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Basic understanding of GD&T and blueprint reading.
• Experience using measurement equipment such as mics, calipers, thread gauges and gage pins.
• Comfortable with basic math and computer systems.
• A team player with strong communication skills.
• Pride in delivering high-quality, accurate results.
• Ability to cooperate with team members while maintaining a professional attitude.
• Must be authorized to work in the US without sponsorship, both now and in the future.

Job Description

Our client, a manufacturer of high-quality industrial heaters, temperature sensors, and temperature controls, is seeking an experienced CMM Operator to join their team on 2nd Shift.

Pay range: $22-$24/hr. (2nd shift has a 15% Shift Differential)

*Please note-Training will be required on 1st shift, and then you will move to 2nd shift.*

As the CMM Operator, you will join the Quality Department and play a critical role in delivering high-quality thermal solutions to industries that keep the world moving.
