Qualifications

Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, and program Keyence vision inspection systems and measurement solutions.
  • Configure and optimize cameras, sensors, lighting, and inspection parameters to achieve reliable system performance.
  • Develop and maintain inspection programs for manufacturing and quality control applications.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve programming, communication, and hardware-related issues.
  • Integrate Keyence systems with PLCs, HMIs, robots, and manufacturing equipment.
  • Perform testing, validation, and commissioning of new systems and program modifications.
  • Analyze inspection results and implement improvements to reduce false rejects and increase detection accuracy.
  • Create and maintain technical documentation, operating procedures, and work instructions.
  • Train operators, technicians, and engineering personnel on system operation and maintenance.
  • Support continuous improvement initiatives focused on quality, productivity, and process optimization.
  • Provide technical support during equipment installations, upgrades, and production launches.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify automation opportunities and develop effective solutions.

  • 3+ years of experience for Mid-Level candidates.
  • 5+ years of experience for Senior-Level candidates.
  • Proven experience programming and configuring Keyence vision systems.
  • Knowledge of industrial automation and manufacturing processes.
  • Experience working with PLCs and industrial communication protocols.
  • Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.

Preferred
  • Experience with Keyence IM-X products.
  • Familiarity with Allen-Bradley, Siemens, Mitsubishi, or Omron PLCs.

  • Experience with machine vision applications in automotive, medical device, electronics, or consumer products manufacturing.
