Job summary

Socket.dev is seeking a CMM Programmer to design, program, test, and support Keyence vision inspection and measurement systems in manufacturing environments. You will work with engineering, quality, maintenance, and production teams to implement inspection and process controls that improve product quality and efficiency.

The ideal candidate has hands-on experience with IM-X and a strong understanding of industrial automation, troubleshooting, and process improvement.

Qualifications

Hands-on experience with automation and vision systems in manufacturing.
Experience programming and configuring Keyence vision systems.
Strong understanding of industrial automation and process improvement.

Responsibilities

Design, develop, and program Keyence vision inspection systems and measurement solutions.
Configure cameras, sensors, lighting, and inspection parameters for reliable performance.
Develop and maintain inspection programs for manufacturing and quality control.
Troubleshoot programming, communication, and hardware issues.
Integrate Keyence systems with PLCs, HMIs, robots, and equipment.
Test, validate, and commission new systems and modifications.
Analyze inspection results and drive improvements to reduce defects.
