Job summary

A&G Machine is seeking an experienced CMM Operator with a minimum of five years in aerospace inspection. You will perform setup and use of CMM to measure production parts, while maintaining a clean, organized work area in a private, family-oriented company.

The role requires knowledge of 3D model inspection, GD&T ASME Y14.5, and strong math and communication skills. You will work a 12‑hour night shift on weekends and enjoy our benefits package including health, dental, and 401(k).

Qualifications

  • Minimum of 5-10 years in aerospace inspection.
  • Understanding of 3D model inspection.
  • Proficient with GD&T ASME Y14.5 2009 or newer.
  • Basic math skills and high attention to detail.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Highly capable in Microsoft Office.
  • Excellent troubleshooting skills.
  • Excellent communication skills in a leadership capacity, managing and working well with others.

Job Description
  • Perform setup and use of CMM to measure production parts.
  • Maintain and organized for a clean work environment.
  • Maintain a working knowledge of quality standards, part inspection, and preservation methods.
  • Explore new technologies and inspection methods and make recommendations.

Physical Demands
  • Required to push, pull, lift and or carry up to 50 lbs. and up to 100 lbs with assistance.

  • Work performed in a combination of shop and office environments.
  • Exposed to shop elements such as noise, dust, odors, fumes, etc.
