Job summary

Real Estate Education Rocks seeks a skilled CMM Operator to set up and run CMMs using Metrolog X4 and Polyworks. You will ensure programs run correctly, calibrate equipment, and perform dimensional layouts and capability studies for PPAP submissions.

The role involves working with automotive manufacturing cues, completing inspections, and supporting cross‑department projects. This is a full-time in-person position with periodic travel.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Manufacturing Experience (Automotive Preferred).
• Minimum of one year of CMM operation or familiarity.
• Bachelor’s Degree from a College or University preferred.

Responsibilities

• Properly Setup and run CMM using Metrolog X4 Software.
• Ensure programs are running properly and perform minor adjustments.
• Perform maintenance of inspection equipment, including calibration.
• Monitor CMM Room conditions and maintain environment.
• Operate Faro/Romer Arm CMM using Polyworks Software.
• Conduct dimensional layouts and capability studies for PPAP submissions.
• Support special projects with various departments using the CMM.

Job description

Employees will operate the CMM using Metrolog X4 and Polyworks softwares . They will also ensure that CMM equipment is in working condition & properly calibrated. They will also complete dimensional inspections if needed.

3. Perform maintenance of inspection equipment, including calibration

4. Monitor the controlled conditions of the CMM Room and maintain

5. Operate Faro/Romer Arm CMM using Polyworks Software

6. Performs all dimensional layouts and capability studies for all Production Part Approval Process submissions

7. Support special projects with various departments using the CMM

Competencies

• Computer Literate
• English language skills (written and spoken)
• German language skills (written and spoken) preferred but not required
• Spanish language skills (written and spoken) preferred but not required

Supervisory Responsibility

No direct Supervisory responsibility. During special projects CMM operator is expected to lead project and supervise any aspect of said project.

Position Type/Expected Hours of Work

This is a full-time position, and hours of work and days are generally Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 5 p.m. In order to meet our customer’s demands this role may be required to perform work outside of business hours including weekends

Domestic and International occasional travel.

Required Education and Experience
