**Job Responsibilities** :

+ Support samples and PPAP’s by gathering parts, submitting sample requests, facilitate measuring, testing, and reporting results.

+ Compiling documents and data for PPAP submittals as required

+ Entering data and information into the PPAP documents

+ Analyze results to verify product conforms to dimensional, performance specifications and Quality Control Plans

+ Assist the Quality Supervisor by filing documents, organizing color chips

+ Support QMS process & continuous improvement initiatives

+ Assist the QE by data gathering for 8D corrective actions

+ Assist the QE by updating Quality Control Plan documents

+ Prepare and package samples for shipment

+ CMM Lab or Qtech fill-in when required

+ Perform PMs on CMM Machines

+ Perform other related duties as delegated by supervision.

**Functional Skills and abilities Required:**

+ Understanding of Bill of Materials and Quality Control Plans

+ Experience using Windchill, HQMS, Mattec, SAP

+ Proficient with Microsoft Office

+ Excel

+ Word

+ PowerPoint

+ Outlook

+ PCDMIS and CMM experience preferred.

+ Ability to utilize inspection gauges, rulers & calipers, micrometers

+ Data collection experience, preferred.

+ Must be able to effectively communicate with others both verbally and in writing

+ Must be able to work effectively in a fast paced environment

+ Attention to detail and organization is critical

+ Ability to shift hours to support PPAP sample runs

+ Ability to work day or night shift to train CMM techs

**Minimum Qualifications:**

+ Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

+ Technical aptitude and computer knowledge, required.

+ CMM Programming experience preferred or willingness to be trained on CMM Programing

+ Quality Technician fill-in experience

+ Basic understanding of injection molding processes
