Job summary

Honeywell Aerospace in Norcross, GA is seeking a Quality Inspector to ensure product conformance and drive continuous improvement in manufacturing. Job description

In this role, you will impact the overall product quality and operational efficiency by identifying defects, ensuring compliance with specifications, and contributing to continuous improvement initiatives.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Perform detailed inspections of materials, components, and finished products to ensure compliance with quality standards and specifications.

  • Document inspection results and report non-conformances to appropriate departments for corrective action.

  • Collaborate with production and engineering teams to resolve quality issues and improve inspection processes.

YOU MUST HAVE
  • Experience in quality inspection within manufacturing or production environments.

  • Strong knowledge of inspection techniques, quality standards, and measurement tools.

  • Ability to read and interpret technical drawings.

  • Proficiency with inspection equipment and quality management systems.

  • Proficiency with operating and programming CMM.

  • Software experience with LK-DMIS &/or PC-DMIS

WE VALUE
  • Relevant technical certification or diploma in quality assurance or related field.

  • 3+ years of experience in quality inspection or related roles.

  • Attention to detail, analytical thinking, and problem-solving skills.

  • Familiarity with industry standards such as ISO or AS9100 is a plus

  • Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing per ASME Y14.4, specifications, and quality documentation

  • Utilized and programmed CMMs for quality inspections while actively supporting equipment maintenance, calibration, and preventive upkeep.
