Title: CMM Inspector

Status: Non-Exempt

Reports To: Quality Supervisor

Location: Manitowoc, WI

SummaryThe CMM Inspector is responsible for performing dimensional inspections of manufactured components using Coordinate Measuring Machines (CMM), precision measuring instruments, and established quality standards. This position verifies product conformity, supports manufacturing operations, and helps drive continuous improvement in quality performance.

Responsibilities

  • Perform dimensional inspections using CMM equipment and applicable software programs.
  • Interpret engineering drawings, GD&T requirements, specifications, and quality standards.
  • Develop, validate, and execute CMM inspection programs as required.
  • Inspect first articles, in-process parts, and final products to verify conformance.
  • Use precision measuring instruments including calipers, micrometers, height gages, bore gages, and indicators.
  • Document inspection results and maintain accurate quality records.
