Job summary

Princeton Precision Group seeks a CMM Inspection Trainee to learn the craft of coordinate metrology and quality inspection on production parts in Mentor, OH. You will work under mentorship to set up CMMs, inspect castings and tooling, and log precise measurements.

The role emphasizes following documented work instructions, attention to detail, and independence while expanding your metrology knowledge and software skills such as PC-DMIS or Calypso.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.

Responsibilities

• Set up and operate a Coordinate Measuring Machine with guidance and training.
• Inspect high-precision parts against specifications.
• Capture measurements and log results in required formats.
• Create and distribute inspection reports.
• Assist with calibration and routine care of measurement equipment.
• Flag quality concerns and communicate them promptly.
• Collaborate with Quality, Engineering, and Production to resolve issues.
