Job summary

CSP (Teijin Automotive Technologies) in Ohio is seeking a Laboratory Technician to support calibration, measurement, and quality processes in our lab. You will read blueprints and CAD data, operate CMM, and ensure instruments are calibrated to meet customer requirements.

The role emphasizes attention to detail, multi-tasking, and clear communication as you maintain lab cleanliness and support new product trials and audits.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED; 1–3 years related experience preferred.
• AA degree or equivalent 2 years of college/technical training.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office; familiar with Access and database software.
• Detail oriented, highly organized, able to multi-task with strong written and verbal communication.

Responsibilities

• Read and use blueprints and CAD data; basic math skills.
• Operate the CMM machine and perform daily checks.
• Calibrate measuring devices in line with customer requirements.
• Coordinate SPC data collection for dimensional measurements.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and professional work environment.
• Provide lab support for new product trials and audits.
• Perform other duties as assigned by management.
