Job summary

Amentum seeks a Configuration Management/Data Management (CMDM) Manager to lead CMDM on the Western Range for the Space Force Range Contract (SFRC). You will supervise CMDM, Data Management, Product Support, and Technical Data Management functions while coordinating with customers and stakeholders.

Qualifications include a bachelor’s degree and eight years in engineering or CMDM, plus three years in supervision. DoD experience and a willingness to work occasional non-duty hours are preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in business, engineering or related field or equivalent Combination of education and experience.
• Minimum of eight (8) years of Engineering or relevant experience to include Configuration and Data Management experience; Experience in a DoD environment.
• At least three (3) years of experience in a supervisory or management capacity
• Experience supporting the Space Force Range Contract (SFRC) preferred
• Must beflexible to work occasional non-duty hours or on weekends to support specific project requirements
• Must be able to obtain and maintain a DoD Secret Security Clearance, which includes U.S. citizenship

Responsibilities

• Serves as the manager for Configuration Management, Data Management, Product Support, and Technical Data Management functions on the Western Range.
• Provides CMDM related technical judgment and leadership, is proactive, and knowledgeable in processes across CMDM.
• Provides managerial direction with adherence to department/company policies and procedures.
• Interfaces with internal and external customers, coordinates process and product reviews, maintains baselines, and reviews/releases engineering work products.
• Prepares proposals, basis of estimate generation and personnel resource management.
• Establishes and implements short- and long-term strategies to deliver services within schedules and budgets.
• Establishes goals and communicates methodologies, tasks, and responsibilities across personnel for coordination.
• Works with the ER CMDM Manager to ensure consistent approaches across SFRC enterprise.
