About the Company

The Intersect Group is seeking an experienced ServiceNow CMDB Administrator for our direct Financial services client. You will be responsible for ensuring the accuracy, optimization, and governance of IT assets and configuration data. This role manages discovery, automation, and relationship mapping to support IT operations while overseeing the lifecycle of hardware, software, and cloud resources to ensure accurate tracking and cost control. Additionally, the Vendor Management Specialist oversees contracts, vendor performance, optimizing procurement, mitigating risks, and ensuring seamless operations and compliance.

About the Role

ServiceNow CMDB / Asset Management: Manages and optimizes the CMDB and IT asset lifecycle, ensuring data accuracy, automation, and visibility into hardware, software, and cloud resources. Leverages ITOM for discovery, service mapping, and automation, and ITAM for asset tracking and compliance. Supports integration of assets into the CMDB, the Service Catalog, and governance, enabling efficient incident, change, and problem management.

ServiceNow Development: Ability to design, customize, and integrate ServiceNow applications, automate workflows, troubleshoot issues, and maintain security and compliance.

Cloud Asset Management: Maintains an accurate inventory of cloud resources, manages lifecycle from procurement to decommissioning, and analyzes usage and spending to optimize costs.

Integration: Deploys and manages ServiceNow Service Graph Connectors and supports custom API integrations with third-party systems for seamless data exchange.

Audits and Reconciliation: Conducts regular audits of hardware, cloud, and software assets, identifies discrepancies, and implements corrective actions.

Reporting and Insights: Develops asset management reports and dashboards to provide insights into utilization, compliance, and data integrity for decision-making.

Documentation: Develops procedures and processes across ITOM, ITAM, and Vendor Management for consistency and standardization.

Asset Lifecycle Management: Implements and maintains strategies for tracking assets from acquisition to disposal.

Vendor Relationship Management: Acts as the primary contact for vendor activities, building relationships to optimize costs and service quality.

Procurement Support: Collaborates with procurement to record and track asset acquisitions, leases, and contracts within ServiceNow.

Third-Party and IT Risk Assessments: Facilitates risk assessments, evaluates risk factors, and ensures clear understanding of risks.

Data Analysis and Maintenance: Performs analysis on third-party and contract data, maintaining data accuracy and accessibility.

Third Party Performance Monitoring: Monitors vendor performance and compliance, addressing issues proactively.
