The role emphasizes collaboration across Fitch’s CRE team and global coverage, with opportunities to influence market perspectives. The position requires 5–7 years in CRE underwriting/valuation, strong Excel/Word skills, and the ability to manage multiple priorities.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in finance, real estate, or related field.
• 5–7 years in CRE underwriting, valuation or loan workouts.
• Advanced Excel and Word; financial modeling a plus.
• Strong analytical, quantitative and organizational skills.
• Experience across various commercial property types.
• Excellent written and verbal communication for committee presentations.

Responsibilities

• Identify credit strengths and risks of US/Canada CRE properties; market analysis and property-level fundamentals.
• Perform property cash flow analysis and update valuations for loans.
• Prepare materials and communicate rating conclusions to credit committee.
• Publish rating commentaries and research reports.
• Mentor or manage junior analysts.
