The Department of Medicine, Division of Cardiovascular Medicine is seeking a highly organized, proactive, and solutions-oriented individual to serve as the Cellular and Molecular Arrhythmia Research Program (CMARP) Research Operations Coordinator. The CMARP Research Operations Coordinator will support multiple research laboratories and world-renowned investigators. In this dynamic role, you will serve as the operational backbone of our research enterprise – coordinating laboratory operations, purchasing, equipment management, regulatory compliance, student employee supervision, and administrative support that keeps innovative research moving forward. If you enjoy solving complex problems, building relationships, working in a collaborative scientific environment, and making a meaningful impact behind the scenes, this is an exciting opportunity to contribute to discoveries that improve cardiovascular health around the world. This position is full or part-time, 80%-100% This position requires work to be completed onsite, at a designated campus work location.

The starting salary for the position is $50,000 annually; but is negotiable based on experience and qualifications.
SMPH Faculty /Academic Staff Benefits Flyer 2026 Department of Labor Fair Labor Standards Act (FLSA) requires that positions earning less than $43,888 annually be considered non-exempt under FLSA provisions for overtime. Based on these rules, if the person selected for this recruitment will earn less than the new salary threshold at July 1, 2024 ($43,888 annually), they will be an academic staff non-exempt employee, will be paid hourly and will receive overtime compensation for any hours worked over 40 in a workweek.
University sponsorship is not available for this position, including transfers of sponsorship and TN visas. The selected applicant will be responsible for ensuring their continuous eligibility to work in the United States (i.e. a citizen or national of the United States, a lawful permanent resident, a foreign national authorized to work in the United States without the need of an employer sponsorship) on or before the effective date of appointment.
