Job summary

Rite of Passage Team in Toquerville and Virgin, Utah seeks a Certified Medical Assistant to support the Student Health Services department and assist health professionals. This on-site role focuses on coordinating patient flow, scheduling, and providing compassionate care to youth in residential programs.

You will ensure safe transports to appointments, assist with health screenings, and work within a team that aims to improve outcomes for at-risk youth.

Qualifications

• Certification as a Medical Assistant is required.
• Empathetic, patient, and compassionate demeanor.
• Must be able to pass criminal background check and TB test.

Responsibilities

• Assist the Student Health Services department and health professionals.
• Coordinate flow of students to be seen and scheduling with external providers.
• Transport students to medical appointments when necessary.
• Support safe, caring environment for youth in residential programs.
