Job summary

Piedmont Medical Care Corporation is seeking a Medical Assistant to provide patient care under supervision of a physician, APP or nurse, following established guidelines. The role supports the clinical team and patient flow in a fast-paced setting in Atlanta.

Candidates should have a Medical Assistant or Nursing Assistant program completion, or one year of related clinical experience. BCLS certification is required along with CMA or NCMA certification.

Qualifications

• GED or high school diploma preferred.
• Graduate of an accredited Medical Assistant program or Nursing Assistant program required.
• In lieu of formal education, one year of medical assistant or related clinical experience required.

Responsibilities

• Provide patient care activities under supervision of a physician, APP, or RN.
• Adhere to established guidelines and standards.
• Support medical team in daily clinical tasks.
