Job summary

Piedmont is hiring a Medical Assistant to support patient care under physician and nurse supervision, following established guidelines. The role requires a combination of formal education or relevant clinical experience and appropriate certifications.

The ideal candidate will have a valid CMA-AAMA or NCMA certification and BCLS. A GED or high school diploma is preferred, with related clinical experience considered in lieu of formal education where applicable.

Qualifications

Qualifications

Education

• H.S. Diploma or General Education Degree (GED) Preferred and
• Graduate of an accredited an accredited Medical Assistant program or completion of a Nursing Assistant program Required or
• In Lieu of formal education program, one (1) year of medical assistant or related clinical experience Required

Work Experience

• No experience required Required or
• In lieu of degree one (1) year of medical assistant or related clinical experience Required

Licenses and Certifications

• BCLS - Basic Life Support Required and
